Mechanism of Action
The orthodontic force applied by wire braces or clear aligners is complemented by the Aevo System™. The system’s LIPUS technology applies ultrasound waves to the desired bone remodeling treatment site at the gum level: the cementum, periodontal ligament, and alveolar bone engagement area.
LIPUS stimulates bone remodeling, which accelerates orthodontic treatment due to LIPUS having a direct signal pathway at the cellular level of the alveolar bone remodelling: both osteoclast (bone resorption) and osteoblast (bone formation) cells.

Aevo System™ Usage
The Aevo System™ is designed with an intra-oral LIPUS therapy appliance that complements both wire braces and clear aligners. Accompanied by a biocompatible intra-oral ultrasound gel, the Aevo System™ optimizes LIPUS delivery to the desired therapeutic site: the alveolar bone surrounding the targeted tooth roots.
The Aevo System™ is intuitive, safe, and easy to use. This self-contained, portable system is used by a single patient. Our web-based clinic software allows your clinic to set up the desired LIPUS therapy during the patient’s initial visit and in real time monitor the patient’s compliance throughout their orthodontic treatment.
The patient downloads the Aevo System™ App and follows the setup instructions. Then the patient applies the LIPUS treatment at home or on-to-go by placing the intra-oral appliance in their mouth for one 20-minute session each day. The system generates and monitors the LIPUS dosage, indicates treatment status, and records treatment compliance. For best results, the Aevo System™ should be used daily for the full length of the patient’s orthodontic treatment.
