In times of stress and community crisis, it’s common for instances of domestic violence to rise. 1 in 3 Albertans will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. Sagesse helps Albertans impacted by domestic violence find safety and to empower themselves, through direct service, capacity building and education programs, such as our Real Talk program. Sagesse is also the backbone agency for IMPACT, which is an initiative that brings together over 300 different organizations who are focused on eradicating domestic violence across Alberta. Through IMPACT, we work with and support over 20 different agencies, women’s shelters and organizations in your area. We also work closely with government officials within your area and provincially to stop violence before it starts.
